Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Platform Role

NexSara facilitates connections between Customers and independent Service Providers.

NexSara does not directly provide services and does not process payments for services arranged between Customers and Service Providers unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Refunds and cancellations relating to services are generally handled directly between Customers and Service Providers.

NexSara may, however, process payments for subscription plans and other platform services offered directly by NexSara.

2. Customer Cancellations

Customers may cancel service arrangements according to the terms agreed upon with the Service Provider.

Customers are responsible for reviewing cancellation policies, scheduling requirements, deposits, and refund terms before confirming services.

Cancellation eligibility, fees, credits, or refunds are determined directly between the Customer and the Service Provider.

3. Provider Cancellations

Service Providers are expected to:

  • Honor confirmed service commitments.
  • Provide reasonable notice of cancellations whenever possible.
  • Communicate schedule changes promptly.
  • Maintain professional business practices when managing appointments and bookings.

Repeated cancellations, excessive no-shows, or other conduct that negatively impacts customer experience may affect provider standing on the platform.

4. Service Refund Responsibility

Refunds relating to services arranged through NexSara are determined by the agreement between the Customer and the Service Provider.

NexSara:

  • Does not guarantee refunds.
  • Does not collect service payments.
  • Does not control refund decisions between users.
  • Does not act as a financial intermediary for service transactions.

Customers and Providers are responsible for resolving refund requests directly with one another.

5. Subscription Refunds and Cancellations

This section applies only to payments made directly to NexSara for subscription plans, premium features, verification programs, advertising services, or other platform offerings.

Unless otherwise required by law:

  • Subscription fees are generally non-refundable after a billing period has begun.
  • Cancellation of a subscription will stop future renewals but does not automatically entitle the subscriber to a refund for the current billing period.
  • Providers may continue to access subscription benefits until the end of the active billing period unless otherwise stated.
  • Promotional discounts, coupons, credits, and special offers may be subject to separate terms.

NexSara reserves the right to issue refunds, credits, or adjustments at its sole discretion where appropriate.

6. Subscription Downgrades and Plan Changes

Providers may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel eligible subscription plans through available account settings.

Depending on the selected plan change:

  • Upgrades may take effect immediately.
  • Downgrades may take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Subscription benefits may change based on the selected plan.

Additional terms presented during the subscription change process will govern where applicable.

7. Dispute Situations

In the event of disputes regarding cancellations or refunds:

  • Customers and Service Providers should first attempt to resolve issues directly.
  • NexSara may review complaints involving policy violations, fraud, abuse, or misconduct.
  • NexSara does not act as a financial arbitrator or collection agency.
  • NexSara is not responsible for enforcing private agreements between users.

8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Users should contact the other party or NexSara, as applicable, before initiating chargebacks or payment disputes.

NexSara reserves the right to investigate disputed transactions and may suspend or restrict accounts involved in fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized chargeback activity.

9. Future Refund Systems

If NexSara introduces integrated payment processing, marketplace checkout functionality, escrow services, milestone payments, or other financial services, refund and cancellation processes may be governed by updated policies.

Updated terms will be published before such services become generally available.

10. Relationship to Other Policies

This Refund & Cancellation Policy should be read together with the NexSara Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Payment Policy, Service Provider Agreement, and any applicable subscription terms.

In the event of any conflict between this policy and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall govern unless otherwise required by applicable law.
